Its only when you start in to a restoration you begin to realise the amount of work it takes

not just sourcing and finding missing parts

getting it to work again after lying so long

then stripping it back to the metal and painting

More details found that could have been lost if

sand blasting was used to strip back to metal

This is why we have to strip back the paint work

by hand to preserve any information found

Finally now being put back together and has had its first test run

Hopefully to be seen for first time at this years remembrance event
